Mid-term Evaluation of the Program Improving the Reintegration of Returnees in Afghanistan

The objective of the evaluation is to identify the factors that may hinder the progress of the program, paying special attention to its intermediate results based on the expected objectives. This evaluation will provide the EU with recommendations to improve both current and future actions.
The Program "Improving the reintegration of returnees in Afghanistan" is part of the 2030 Agenda for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), and aims to contribute mainly to goal n. 10 of the SDGs, and specifically to "facilitate orderly, safe, regular and responsible migration and mobility, through the implementation of planned and well-managed policies." Activities include:
Community development projects;
Vocational training;
Technical assistance to the Government;
Support for the allocation of land and housing;
Child protection;
Polio vaccination campaigns;
Exceptional post-arrival reception assistance for returnees.
